sometimes my computor hard drive will not load windows and boot up my computor. sometimes it takes six or eight tries and it will start. sometimes you can turn it off and start it right back up. bought a new hard drive 7200rpm 20 gig. Still starts intermittantly. custom built computor like new, built six months ago worked great. any suggestions?

Will it boot in safe mode? Do you pull any error messages when it wont boot? What troubleshooting steps have you tried so far(i.e. different ram segments, eliminating start-up programs, etc etc)? What are the system specs? jimi_l
