my comp says it's got boot up failure. It wont boot from a boot disk either and i can't get it to run in safe mode. Before this problem it wanted me to restart to update a registry but i switched off and now it wont boot up. Can someone please help?

make sure in the back of your computer that all the wires are plug in coorectly.

reformat your hard-drive First get a win 98 setup floppy and format the hard by typing format c:/ the /s slash normally used is not needed. Then pop in your own restore disks. Some infomation is missing from this help but you should get the general idea.

hello you might have a sick boot disk your trying to boot with try d/ling one from www.bootdisk.com and post back in new thread if it works or not and what else youve tryed have a nice day
