Hi,
Does anyone know how to make a computer with operating system boot to a C:\ Prompt after formatting the drive?

You could do a sys c but your post isn't real clear. You say you have an os on it but then you say you've formatted the drive. If you formatted the drive, you don't have an os on it.

You still need an OS even if the OS is just the boot disk. If there is no OS then there is no C prompt. Thats what DOS is. Just a C prompt and no GUI. But DOS is an OS and you at least need that. Confucious say "formating a disk is like clearing table, but you still need a fork for food."
