Help trying to install a bluetooth usb adapter when trying to install from CD getting "error 1304 error writing to file C:\windows\inf\btpctse.inf. verify you have access to that directory. Anyone have any ideas

bad install disk??
make a folder, copy files from the cd to th e folder, run install from the folder. see if it goes then.

Thanks but that didn't work either...And when i try the other way i.e.plug the device in my pc recognizes the adapter and searches for the drivers when i select my cd drive it finds them but when i select to install my machine just freezes
