While working on my pc, I got a blue screen and it said error 0D:0028:C000A4A0 Then I hit enter to return to windows and another screen came up an it said Windows protection error. You need to restart your pc. System halted. Then I couldn't do anything so I reset the pc. The pc restarted and another screen came up and said File name VMM(01)+00009963 Error:0E:0028:C0015AA0. Now I don't have any clue what that means but it is a pain in the @$$. The pc started in safe mode a couple of times and have done the instructions told me to do. Well I ran msconfig and checked selective start up and I unchecked Process System.ini file,Process Win.ini, load static VxDs,and load start up group items. I restarted the pc and it said that norton's failed to load. So I I went back into msconfig put everything back the way it was except I left NDIS in the static VxD tab unchecked and windows started ok. I am running windows ME and I have an A7V133 ASUS MB. In the BIOS fastwrite is disabled and the pc performance is set to normal. Could any one tell me what the problem is and how to fix it..Also how to make my pc run better..Thank you for any suggestions Chris form Vegas!!!

Usually this error means you need to update your 4 in 1 chipset drivers. Look at point 10 of this post
