Did you ever download the updates to sp1 from Windows Update? Also, try the IE 6 beta that is there. It seems to be very stable.

Im getting the same error (0E:0028:C0012D2C)
It occurs extremly often making the computer useless. It seems to only happen with windows internet explorer. Netscape has never brought up the error. Compaq does not have a solution. They say that code may indicate a memory useage problem?? Microsoft wont help unless theyre paid and from others experiance with this error code and MS, they don't have an answer. HELP!
