I'm trying to block access to a computer on my network from accessing the internet. I'd still like that computer to access email ports and intranet data. I just don't want it to access http data through port 80.

I've exhasted the settings on my linksys 4 port wireless B router. You can block a PC totally from accessing outside, and you can block ports... but NOT combinations of both (block port 80 just for IP address 192.168.1.xxx).

I then started playing with ICS. I loaded an extra NIC on a PC that's running all the time and then routed the client PC to it. The offending client PC that I want to control is running ME. The host has XP Pro SP2. It seems that in the advanced settings of ICS you can define which services you want to allow other computers to access. I've checked just email, and haven't checked http... but the ME computer has access to everything.

I've toggled the Win XP firewall on and off and retried... same results.

Is there anyway, without using an additional software firewall, to control access the way I want?

Thanks
