I have just connected my friends pc to the internet,every thing went fine except when you veiw web pages off or online the cursor will blink uncontrollibly, he is running winme ie5, any help pls. H
Check your mouse IRQ for conflicts: CONTROL PANEL > SYSTEM > DEVICE MANAGER tab > MOUSE (all tabs). Then on same screen, double click COMPUTER (at top of listing) > check IRQs. Also, can check: CONTROL PANEL > MOUSE > all tabs, then CONTROL PANEL > ACCESSIBILITY OPTIONS > MOUSE tab > SETTINGS.

Might also try opening your Mouse Control Panel while online and making some change (can even put setting back as it was), doesn't matter what, then hit "apply". this fixed a problem I was having in Netscape. Don't ask why or how, but it did. Go figure!!
