After I start my computer everything is fine until the desktop is supposed to appear. Nothing happens the mousepointer works but the screen is all black. I think i accedently uninstalled intel. Has anyone any suggestions..?

Well before that I had a lot of other problems so I uninstalled many programs to see if that would help... So I may have uninstalled Intel by mistake.

You had a software program named "Intel?"

Have you tried running System Restore and restoring to a point before the trouble started? Have you tried Safe Mode?

It was something intel... I think that's a driver of some sort..? I don't know how to do a system restore because I never get to the desktop.. It's no difference when I start in safe mode the same thing happens.

I found that turning the monitor off for a second then on again brings the screen back.... Hope this helps.
