I hope someone can help, this is a bit of a strange problem....
I'm a member of faceparty and log in regularly, I logged into it on Tuesday and it was fine, then I tried to log in last night and when I clicked it in my favourites it just came up with a photograph, as if it was a file on my computer, but I can't remember seeing the pic before!!
So I closed the screen and opened another one and typed in the faceparty url manually, the picture came up again! So I got a friend to send me the link to faceparty on msn messenger, I clicked it and THE PICTURE AGAIN!
I really can't understand this, can anyone offer any advice please
By the way, I'm using AOL 9.0 on broadband, don't know if that's relevant

By the way again....
I've run AVG (fully updated)
Spybot
Ad-aware
AOL spyware programmeand it hasn't helped at all

Still sounds like a virus.
go to www.pandasoftware.com and run the online active scan.
also try hijack this from http://www.siena.edu/antivirus/Spyware/hijackthis.htm

Delete your cookies and temp internet files, and choose to delete all offline content when prompt when you delete internet files.

I would not recommend HiJackThis, most sites are not reading it without a request from in-house experts. Too soon for that anyway. I agree with a good general clean out-- Dump %TEMP%, TIF, cookies, run Disk Clean-up, Scan Disk, and Defragmenter.
If you run the virus scans, do them in safe mode, along with your updated AV, and updated Spybot and Adaware--you have to update AVG SpyBot and Adaware every three days or so. If they are clean in Safe Mode then it is accepted that more than likely you are clean.
Also, you are running AOL which takes over your PC, cause more problems that it is worth especially if it doesn't control the media player and site you are accessing. AOL is almost as bad as Kazaa IMHO.
Here is some resource to check your browser's integrity:
Jason’s Browser Security Test:

Gibson tests:

I use LeakTest, UnplugnPray, DCOMbobulator, and ShieldsUp
