I was poking around in the BIOS and I came accoss something thats letting my curiosity get the best of me ! It was in the Advanced BIOS Features-OS Select For DRAM>64MB Non-OS/2. Is this setting limiting the amount of RAM being utilized by my system. I have 256MB SDRAM 100 installed on my system. Iam very much a novice when it comes to the BIOS , I go there and look around however the only changes I ever made where to disable my onboard audio, after installing a sound card , and disabling the bootup floppy seek ! Is OS/2 for those that have more than 1 O/S on there hard drive , just curious ? Thanks to All, Nick

OS Select for DRAM > 64MB (Non-OS/2)
OS/2 requires a specific BIOS switch in order to access memory addresses above 64 MB system memory.
In other words, don't worry about it. OS/2 and an older IBM operating system that not to many people use anymore. I don't know if they have a new version out or not. If you look to the left of your screen you will notice there is an OS/2 Forum.
Laters,

P.S Be careful in the BIOS my friend.

Thanks Kevin the Tech Dude, I found your reply helped settle my curiosity ! I know what you mean about using care when in the BIOS, if you are not familar with how to use it. I documented all of my settings , incase something should happen . I was told to write down the CMOS settings , because if the coin battery fails , I may lose those settings ? Thanks again,Nick
