Anyone know of a good video capturing program? I am trying to capture video (and audio as well) from a camcorder via USB. I have a program that came with my camcorder, but its not too great.

dump the usb connection you need a PCI to firewire connection USB is to slow for video firewire is on the right track

Forget the USB connection get yourself a pci to firewire card and a firewire cable for your camera.
USB is way to slow for video feeds.
Pinnacle Studio Version 7 is a damn good program

hello you might try uleads sight might be wrong dont do vido my self it dose not mater ecept for speed how your conected to computer i seem to rember anther name smart capture. you might try a google search for vidio capture programs.they will all work just fine with your ubs conection it,ll just take longer have a nice day

If you want really good video software check out a 30 day free trial of Adobe Premier. Spendy but amazing! With a DSL or Cable connection you can download the trial from the Adobe website.
