Greetings all:
I would truly like to know from experienced users which CD program is best for data and music.. I have a Dell 4100 WinME and 256 Mb of SDRAM.
By any chance is there anyone quite proficient with setting up this software? I know that is a loaded question, but I wanted to get something others are familiar with so I might get help with my first CD when posting at the board. Knowing regulars who post here use a certain software, would be to my advantage.
Thanks a lot if you respond..I have only put one CD in my machine...storebought..and instantly knew I wanted to make my own. But this particular request is for copying a photo presentation put to music, etc..that someone made for me... It will be on my hard drive and then I will need to copy (burn?)
to a CD...
Can a REAL beginner do something like
this..? One who can follow instuctions but doesn't realy have a great aptitude as such now for quickly getting things new? But persevers.. appreciate your input. HB

I would worry more about the cd burner
you choose to buy (rather than the
application). It's worth paying a bit more
for one which employs burnproof
technology, Plextor - for example. This will
eliminate many of the prospective
problems you might face. I failed to do so
and have wasted many hours burning
faulty cd's with a variety programs, and
am forever tweaking my setup to get
things working.
Good luck!

For your burner, choose either Plextor or TDK. They both have burnproof. Software, go for Nero. I believe Nero is bundled with TDK and EZCD comes with Plextor. EZCD seems to cause more system problems than Nero from what I read. I have copies of both and have found Nero to be more reliable.
