Comment: For about a week every web page that I have recently visited is the first page to hit the screen vs. the most recent page the site has to offer. This even includes my ISP home page, and this site. Depending how long its been since I've visited the site they are usually hours to days old and I have to continually hit the refresh button to get the most recent information. I've used IE 6.0 for about 2 months now and this is the first problem encountered. Is there a simple way to correct this short of doing a system restore?

Reply: (edit)You have to empty your temporary internet files to get rid of old pages in the internet cache. At the top of the browser click on Tools, then on Internet Options. If you click on Delete Files it will empty the temp folder. If you go to Tools--Internet Options--Advanced, there is a box down near the bottom that you can check to automatically empty the temp folder when your browser is closed.
