hello angelo;
if you want scandisk to work do this; put your windows floppy startup disk in floppy drive if you dont have one make one, to make
a startup disk you need one floppy disk go into control panel click add/remove programs
then click "startup disk" when the floppy disk is created put it in, restart the computer wait till it loads up,if a:\ is there type in c:\ click enter. then type in
SCANDISK that should start the scandisk prosess......the only things that need to be opened for scandisk to work in ordinary windows mode is explorer and systray both these need to be opened.
about the spybot thing, dso exploit, its part of spybot to remove dso exploit click start then search for files and folders
then type in dso, only delete the dso exploit
that should work...you should remove zone firewall and download a different one
best wishes

1) You've already been told how to deal with Scandisk.

2) 2, 3, 4 should all be in the security and virus forum and if you'd done ANY elementary reading -- Like "reading the manual" then you wouldn't be asking this.

RTFM and Google is your friend along with the site search.
