FYI, I removed HP back web agent some weeks ago and never re-installed with no problem. However, reveiwing these replies, I made a search for backweb and encountered the following: BW - A delay application HP Coach - A windows script file that Norton anti-virus did not like when I opened it. Patch - A Ms-Dos batch file. Wonder what is going on here, and does anyone have any ideas? Thanks Geezer

AFter reading all the posts about that happening when you uninstall the backweb agent, I think I'll just keep mine disabled. Just seems to cause more problems that i wouldn't have a clue how to fix. Sorry, I can't help. Maybe someone else will have a fix for you. Did you go to the HP site and look for anything on it? There is a page telling all about how to uninstall it, but not sure if it addresses this issue.
