attachments won't open

Blanche, another thing you might need to do is to make sure you're using the correct program to open it. Take a look at it's suffix (.XXX) and be sure you have the correct thingy picked. I've found that IE can open most things. In case you're not sure, there's a list of what opens what @: http://www.oktec.com/help/file_types.htm HTH. Ed in Texas.
