You might to check the ATI sight to see if their is an update for ME , I have a Haupage Win TV card and when I went to ME it wouldn't work so I went to the website and downloaded the latest app and driver and runs just great now . I would think if you just bought it , it would be up to date though .

I did buy a ATI TV Wonder card 2 weeks ago, and here are my experience with the card and it's drivers. First of all I have a P3-500 MHz and running Win2K with ServicePack2 installed. To get the card working properly under windows 2000 you have to follow the describtion on how to install the drivers for the ATI TV Wonder card exactly. The describtion is found in their temp directory after installing their Media Center 7.1 or on their homepage. When all drivers are installed, you should be ready to use the card. The things you can use the card to is: 1 watch TV or video input on your monitor, 2 take still pictures of the input, 3 Record the input to a file. And first of all I have 2 major problems with the card. Problem 1: When watching TV 20% of the picture in the bottom is missing (it's cropped of). And yes I have disabled crop in their program! So Watching TV with that card I don't wanna! Problem 2: The main reason I did buy the card was to record some video recordings I did record with my video camera. And that really did work. Well you can choose 4 qualities to record the input in. MPEG1 1MBit, MPEG2 2MBIT, MPEG1 6MBit, MPEG2 8MBit. And remember there is a realtime encoder on the card! But When I tried to record it in MPEG2 8MBit the frame rate was about 1 picture a second, so that I did drop. Then I tried to record in MPEG1 1MBit, and there I must say it worked better.. About 5-15 frames a second and a variable sound delay about 2 seconds! I can only say that I have lost so much money and time on a piece of hardware. That card is NOT worth buying. I will categorize it as CRAP.

Whoever has gotten this card to work please help. I have an FIC-AZ11EA MB with 1GB SDRAM, Radeon 7500 Graphics card in AGP slot, ATI TV wonder in PCI slot (I have tried all 5), Network card in PCI slot (Also tried in all 5). I am running Win2k with all the latest updates up to SRP2. I have installed the latest VIA chipset drivers, have the latest ATI drivers (for both the Video and Capture) and even installed a microsoft driver for VIA chipsets (ATI recommendation). The TV wonder uses IRQ 11 (no way to change that I can see) which is shared with most of the other PCI devices. When I go into Device Manager and try to check resources on the TV Wonder, Device Manager hangs. I can not record in Guide+ (get blue screen of death) and can only record from digital VCR for about 20 minutes (again blue screen of death). I am pretty sure my system has enough balls to handle these simple tasks. Oh yeah I have a 30GB WD hard drive almost solely dedicated to recording. Does anyone have a similiar config and if so HOW DID YOU GET IT TO WORK. BTW ATI support is terrible.

I have: Athlon 1.4 Ghz 512 RAM ATI TV WONDER, ATI RADEON 64MB DDR VIVO . Multimedia center 7.1 works alright with Windowx XP. however it does not work with 1600x1200 32 bit resollution and the first time you start the TV, it will cut the bottom line of the screen. After the second start it will show the whole screen. I had the same problem for windows ME but with the sound, when I had to start itfor several times. ATI cannot release normal Win XP drivers and I do not know why. The one sthat I use are from July 2000 and are for Windows 2000. Encoding never worked the way I wanted it to work. I bought it in 2000 and give 3 out of 6.
