Comment:

Am having trouble with my cd burner, which up until recently has been functioning without any problems. It now seems incapable of successfully completing any burn at all, but instead throws up an error message suggesting a lower writing speed. The problem still occurs when burning at 1x as opposed to 16x. I use the NTI cd maker 2000 software, and have a samsung CD RW. It was suggested on this forum that I update my ASPI layer driver. Without wanting to sound un-trusting, would like to know what this is, whether It is likely to help, and whether it will be compatible with my system, before I install it. Cheers in advance, Jon

Have you tried the FREE Update for NTI CD-Maker 2000 Professional Edition Ver. 3.6 - 4.x TO 4.2.75 ?

(assuming that's the correct version)
