AOL dialup

when i connect to aol the dialup networking computers appear in the system tray for about 1 second then they disappear, is there anyway i can get them to stay as i want them so i know how long ive been online and how many bytes have been sent and receieved :0) any help would be good cheers ^_^

CALL AOL,THEY SHOULD BE ABLE TO HELP. ALSO YOU SHOULD BE ABLE TO SET THAT, I WOULD CHECK IN PROPERTIES OR SETUP. HOPE THIS HELPS.ALSO YOU CAN SEE HOW LONG YOUVE BEEN ON LINE ANY DAY IN BILLING. YOU SHOULD ALWAYS SIGN OUT. DONT JUUST CLOSE THE WINDOW!

i have rang them but they said some stuff about they dont use dailup networking, anyone know how to keep those computers there in the system tray?

thats the kinda things im looking for but the dialup networking computers already pop up but obly for about a second then they bugger off :( anyone gotta clue how to keep them there? thanks anyway mate :)

I found away to get rid of them , so maybe if you do reverse it will work...let us know.

the only dialup networking connection i have is AOL dialup on demand and if i right click on it, it doesnt even show up, im not on dialup anyway im on broadband and i was wondering where the dialup would be ........

Hi again micky, as afr as where is the dail up, it tells you in that article above where to find it but since you have broadband , I am not sure because I dont have that, but will ask my sister she has it, maybe she can add some help.........which do use(broadband)?

Micky, sorry I asked around, and it seems other then what the ususal fixes are, no one knows, But I did find a site that deals with Aol problems/questions ..someone on there ask a question about a disappearing bar when going online, but all they did was sign off and back on, but I hope this site can help , sorry .. http://www.dslreports.com/forum/aolplus

HI matew, the link that u gave me worked and i downloaded the software, the icon that i now get up in the system tray to say that im connected is show as im using windows 95, but im using windows ME, is there anyway i can change the icon to the windows ME one?
