Does anyone know wher i can get a key # for win me , I have the disc and my wife threw away the code for it ?? Is there any way to retrieve it off my system or get a new one ?? Microsoft says they cannot help me ??? Any Help will be greatfully Appreciated!!!!
Or, if you want to do it yourself. Open regedit, and navigate to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion it will be located, in the right-hand side. Beside, ProductKey. Good Luck

I saw this same question asked on Tech TV's Call for Help sometime back. Leo indicated that if Microsoft would not help you are probably out of luck. Just any key will not work because the key you enter has to conform with the key on the Windows ME disk. Maybe someone out there knows how to hack if off the ME disk or you can try this link. http://personal-computer-tutor.com/abc2/v15/vic15.htm
