win ME user; I have an annoying problem; A nasty pop up website called i.lookup.com has taken over my Internet Explorer; It does not let me surf the net and does not let me use proxy servers; How do i get rid of this pest??
I tried using regedit and deleted anything concerned with this website; Still the problem persists and also my PC has become very slow;Please help! Thanks in advance

Spybot has "i lookup" listed as one of the spyware programs it detects and eliminates. I would try it and Adaware, they are available from http://wilders.org/ They are free, also Spywareblaster is good at stopping active x problems.
