Hi! Well I'm having some problems with my computer lately...each time something happens, it makes like a noise...like a Tok! and it doesn't come from the speakers...it's getting really anoying, can someone help me out?
that is probably coming from the pc speaker, it is mounted in the case, also where the post beep is heard, when you powerup. on my pc i opened the mixer, double click the speaker icon, next to the clock, choose options-click properties-put a check mark next to pc speaker-click ok-the pc speaker volume is now displayed in your mixer, put a checkmark in the mute box ,below pc speaker, close mixer panel.

What www is saying is that the internal speaker inside the machine is talking [or toking in this case] to you.
Go into control panel and set the sound scheme to no sounds.. or just manually set all the window events to no sound. If the sound stops.. its the internal speaker.
Or you could remove the internal speaker cable from the motherboard and see if the sound goes away.
The wav file sounds odd.. the repetitive clicking usually only happens when your holding a key down too long. Maybe the noise is coming from the HD?
