Annoying error at shutdown!!!

Hi and thanks in advance. Recently, I have had an error message at shutdown as follows: "Mmtask has caused an error in IPHLPAPI.DLL." with the attendent 'will now shut down if you continue experiencing...blah blah.' This only began a week ago, I've kept my system nice and clean with all the applicable programs, firewall and antivirus...I have had to fix intrusions by CWS recently, you know, home page redirects...but nothing amiss now. It seems more cosmetic than serious, but man, it is annoying! Thanks Jon
