I just moved my comp from one room to the other and now when i connect to the internet, every page comes up "page not found"?? I did nothing, just shut down, moved to another room and plugged back in and now it won't work. I've checked all the properties and settings, they all seem to be ok. I use dial up and i know i'm connected because my email works, just Internet Explorer doesn't work. I think it's IE 5.5, and i don't know how to uninstall and reinstall, and i can't go to the microsoft update page to try and figure it out.
Can someone please help me, i can't browse the internet!!!

Go to Control Panel, Add and Remove Programs and page down to Internet Explorer. Highlite it and click add/remove. It will give you an option to repair IE.

Hi!
I don't know what kind of broadband/modem you use, but if you DON'T have a fixed IP then it might help to get a new one.
Go to: Start->Run->(Write:) winipcfg->(Choose:) Release all.
This works in win9x.
As I said, I don't know if this will help you, but at least I try.
