Awhile ago I downloaded a free tryout for efax. I never used it and removed it. Now it has taken over all the sounds in my system! The sounds already in my system were turned over to efax and anything I try to download comes up as an efax document. Please tell me how to fix this. I do not think this program should have done such a thing and I am very upset. Now I feel I will never try any of their products if it does this kind of stuff.

For the sounds go into control panel, sounds and multimedia and then change the scheme to Windows Default or whatever scheme you like. To remove the efax associations you need to double check that all efax related programs are uninstalled properly.
