the computer froze up while online with AOL. I End Tasked Aol and Restarted and when it rebooted the colors are all weird, the images on the desktop are bigger than normal, and the mouse isn't working. I Shut Down and waited and then restarted but it still reboots the same way.

fred, is it possible that you need to change your preferences back? Are you possibly booting into 16 colors (or maybe a different screen size like 640x480) rather than what you're accustomed to? HTH. Ed in Texas.

i had a similar problem and i lost my sound too. I had to reinstall my video drivers and mouse driver to get it woking. try looking through the setup discs which should have come with your computer.. i'm afraid i still haven't got the sound woking on myown computer though but all the colours and my mouse are back. i had the same prob with system restore not working too... i also had to change my internet settings afterwards as it had defaulted to dial up instead of broadband... hope this helps in some way

Hi, Try this first. Right click on MYCOMPUTER click PROPERTIES. click DEVICE MANAGER click + beside VIDEO ADAPTER hilight the adapter and click remove. Reboot computer and if you are lucky it will find the adapter and reload drivers for it. Then you can change the settings through the display setting in control panel.
