Ok, im not really good at computers, but a friend told me I needed to get this Ad-Ware thing, it would help with spyware...I guess, anyways...when I run it...am I suppose to querantene [sp?] them all...and only delete the ones that the ad-ware checks its self? When I do delete evrything, when I restart my pc again, the internet doesnt work...I cant sign in to my messenegrs, or anything, so what am i doing wrong, should I now delete the files from ad-ware? I hope I explained this well.

HellaNew, Ad-Aware has an 'ignore' list. As it detects items that are needed, put them on the list and it won't list them again. You might also consider getting Spybot Search & Destroy. It uses a different database and the two get along with one another. Sometimes one finds something the other missed.

Spyware is often built into 'free' downloaded software and sometimes even dishonest software you bought at the store. If you remove the spyware components, like Ad-Aware and Spybot do, the host software will no longer run. So you need to find out what programs contained the spyware and uninstall them too.
Nearly always there is a true freeware program that's good if not better than the spyware program.
Some basic tips:
- use a firewall (you ~do~ have a firewall, correct?)
- when considering a free download, use a small free program called Ad-Search to see if it's spyware
- honest download sites do NOT distribute spyware. NoNags, Son of Spy Freeware, Freeware Home, and Only Freeware are some excellent sources of free software.I have no idea why removing spyware would prevent you from accessing the Internet. Perhaps the spyware had hijacked your browser (common), and you now need to reset the internet settings.
Best Luck,
Bob

I had the same problem as the original poster. I hope re-installing internet explorer will solve it, because somehow the quarantined files got deleted and I could NOT restore them.
