I recently tried to install a game that failed. When I try to remove it in add/remove programs it tell me that it has been removed but is still listed. Ive tried restarting but it don't help. When I try to reinstall the game it only gives me the option to remove, modify, or repair, I have tried all of them but it will not remove it.

I have also tried to follow the path it was installed and it is nowhere to be found and I've tried searching files or folders.

Go to Sure Cool and download TweakUI, you'll then be able to delete this from your add/remove programs list.
The program is obviously leaving fragments behind during uninstall. Go to start, find, files & folders and in the name box type the following
xxx*.* (x being the first three letters of the name of the game). Ensure you're browsing your c:/drive. this should then bring up any files/folders on your system associated with the game. You can then delete the fragments of files. NOTE: if any of the files have the *.dll extension, then it's safer not to delete them, just in case they're shared files. If they appear in a folder other than windows\system them just copy & paste them in there, they won't do any harm, just a precautionary. That will leave the folder empty, so you can safely delete it.
If you have a registry cleaner installed, it'll be worth using it after you've done the above. If not, then go to start, run and type regedit then press ok. Go to edit and use the same method as above, to locate any registry values associated with the game.
These methods, will ensure the game is completely obliterated from your system.
