I took the HP version of WinME off my machine- too many bugs. The "store bought" version I now have runs a million times better! But, I'd like to get a few of the features back that were with the HP. I have the application files- the question for here is: How do I get them to load at startup? I thought simply adding them to the startup group would do it. Obviously not. Help...!

try going to the programs options.
e.g for display properties and then advanced there you will see a option for display on task bar
the same sort of thing should apply with programs to.

or try msconfig
