Hi,

I have just done a PC Pitstop check and it has said that there are ActiveX Security issues. One of them was Win98 Registration Wizard and the other two related to my digital camera software. It told me to remove them either from Add/Remove Programs or from my Downloaded Program Files folder. I have checked both of these but could not find the relevant ActiveX controls. I also did a Find File or Folders check but still could not locate them.
Please can anyone let me know how to locate and remove them.

Thanks in advance !

Jon

The names of the Active X were:

RegWizCtrl.RegWizCtrl.1
Imaging.AdminCtrl.1
Imaging.EditCtrl.1

Pc Pitstop did not give me the path for these.

Also, not linked with the above problem, I
am now getting a 'Windows Error Service' box regularly appearing stating that Windows detected Spyware on my computer. Download free spyware scanner and remove.
I have Spy Sweeper which I run but does not detect any spyware.
Is this a genuine message or a way of tricking me to enter a dodgy website ?

Thanks !

Jon
