Acrobat Reader 5.5

I recently upgraded my Acrobat Reader to 5.5. I uninstalled the previous one before I put in the new one. Haven't had any problems with it but it keeps freezing my browser on one web site. I contacted the web site and they say they have no problems. It works fine off line and on all other web sites that I've used it on. When it freezes my browser I have to re-start because when I use the wheel on my mouse it makes the size of the text go back and forth from smallest to largest. Could there possibly be something wrong with my browser? I have tried to repair it under Add\Remove but didn't help. Adobe says they have reports of Acrobat Reader freezing on ME but you'd think I would have trouble with other things. I've tried most of their recommendation.

hmm, bit of a toughy, id say uninstall acrobat then reinstall it, if it still has the same problems id download grade my acrobat so it would be fine the way it was. i have acrobat 5.5 and i dont use it for much but it sometimes takes up a lot of ram, try getting RAM BOOSTER and free your ram, because both acrobat and your web browser takes up a lot of ram. that may be your prob laters
