is there anything faster than 56K besides DSL and Cable? I mean can you put 70K or something like that because now, I cannot afford DSL or Cable T_T and my computer is really slow.. I ran the test and it says 45K thing? 48,000 cps I think.

53K is really the limit you will see on a dial up accout. Regulated by the FCC.

There are other options(ISDN, frame relay, satellite etc etc)however they are more expensive than DSL or cable and often not as reliable. Jimi_l

John is correct...a certain # of k's is reserved by law...

With ISDN you can easily have 128K (it is reliable as dial up or more) but you must ask what are the prices and cost of modem in your country-area.
