I am currently installing 3D Studio Max into my PC, and an alarm is coming up saying "Hardware Lock is not attached, or you are using the wrong one" Whats that all about, and how do I fix it?

Howdy, Read this and then visit the link below

Dear Discreet Customer,
A change in manufacturing processes at Rainbow Technologies has unfortunately resulted in a higher than normal failure rate for many of the Sentinel SuperPro hardware locks we initially shipped in North America for
3d studio max® r3, 3D Studio VIZ™ R3, edit v5,
paint v2, and effect v2 (NT-based only).Discreet and Rainbow have worked together to resolve this issue since it was first detected, and now have a solution that returns the reliability to the historically high standards of the Rainbow Sentinel SuperPro locks.
If you are receiving this letter, then the reliability of your hardware lock is highly questionable. Your current lock may fail at any time – when powering up your system, transferring the lock, or merely through extended use. To avoid a failed lock, we urge you to request a replacement lock by the procedure outlined below and we will promptly send you a new hardware lock.
If you wish to replace your lock, please E-mail us at:

It's amazing what you can find at a company's web site if you just look.
Laters,
Kevin The Tech Dude

Dear Sir,
Since my 3ds max lock drivers are not working, I would like you to replace them with the correct drivers.
Thanking you,
Yours sincerely,
Sameer
