Hello,

I was forced to do a factory restart on my compaq presario computer that has windows me and i was unable to get 256 colors back. I have been unable to find my graphics cd back either. Just wondering if there is anything i can do.

YES go to http://www.hp.com and search support for your model, they have driver downloads available...........

Alternative:
You know what kind of Graphic Card you have? (In order to know it: start >> settings >> control panel >> system >> hardware >> hardware manager

Than just go to the website of your graphic card maker (mostly nVidia or ATi) than download the corresponding driver
