I just had someone download a new operating system because my ini file was deleted.they also downloaded windows ME. now I do not have my 256 color that I had before.

How do I get that back.
I have a toshiba satellite pro 4300 series

What do i do?

If you upgraded to Me then you might also need to download a new graphics driver from matrox. I upgraded to 2000 from ME and i encountered the same problem. All i had to do was download the graphics driver for my operating system based on my computer's graphic card model or something. Someone else could give you some more clear information about this...

This is the most-often asked question on the forums. I can't believe you couldn't find the answer by searching previous posts...

Regardless, you simply need to install graphic drivers, generally downloadable from the computer or graphic system manufacturer, or it may be on disks that came with the computer. You may also need to re-install drivers/software for your modem, monitor, sound, and other peripherals.
