Ive overclock my AMD 450Mhz to 500 (506 actually) and I have a question about overheating.

I have a fan that came with the processor but would adding more voltage hurt the processor. Ive got it to run with no problems with 2.8v 5x 100Mhz. My processr says 2.2v/3.3v so am I good to go.

And how can i check my cpu temp?

Anyhelp will do, thanks.

Your voltage is fine, but AMD will run hot, so recommend you get the biggest, best fan and heatsink you can, and also if you dont already have one, install an extra 4" fan in front of case.

a k6 2 is not going to get as hot as an athlon. I oc'd a couple k62's and they ran about 110F with a stock socket 7 fan.
