Hi, two problems that no1 seems to be able to help me with. First, just reinstalled ME as follows: have 2 hard drives, installed ME onto wot used to be my D: drive as it is bigger. When it was my D: drive, I had a background picture in the folder via "Customize this folder". Now its my C: drive and the pictures still there. Only problem is I dont want it there and the "Customize this folder" option isnt available for C:. I was hoping there might be a reg tweak of something?? Have deleted the only key in my reg pointing to the filename but to no avail. Second problem: The Windows Installer tells me "The MSIEXEC file is linked to a missing export MSI.DLL:22" whenever i try to install something. Short of reinstalling (again) is there a quicker solution to this problem. Thanx in advance for any replies.

The boot drive on a Windows computer is always the C drive where the system files are installed.If you wish to reconstruct the registry you have two options both of which may not be available unless you have a save point older than the above mentioned problem.At diskette ME dos prompt type: scanreg /restore or scanreg /fix You would try with restore first and reboot.
