** Resource: Prior Posts - Introduction ============================================================ These RESOURCE posts started February 14, 2002 because the posts I stored in “My Computing Place” were getting too numerous. To make things worse, since some posters didn’t write a comprehendible or descriptive subject line, I couldn’t readily locate what I was looking for. Try to figure out what “A challenge!!!” or “Where is it?” or “how do i” are about. Since then, the “edit” option was added to posts in “My Computing Place.” (Thanks, Justin!) I also wanted an easy way to answer questions that had been asked and answered before. So I decided to keep a list of these posts in a WordPerfect document by topic and sometimes by sub-topic. In some cases I also did searches on the topic I was cataloging (both in Computing.net and on the Web) and added some of the results to the list. I tried to avoid duplicates, but not always. Since this worked for me, I decided to post sections of the catalog (when they became comprehensive enough) under the heading “RESOURCE: Prior Posts on...” because I though you might find it helpful as well. All new/updated resource posts will have hyperlinks, a consistent look, and the same introductory paragraph; some will have a very short description (especially if there are no sub-topics), and some will have my commentary about the subject in addition to the posts.
