Hi I just thought I would mention that I have found that so many of the web sites suggested in posts for tips advice info etc come up as dead links most frustrating so these days I seldom bother

As someone said "Everyone likes to post, no one likes to read." All hyperlinks were tested and, unless noted otherwise, were working at the time of posting. I can't speak for the links within the Computing.net threads, though. But there's usually some good advice even without links.
