Put a zip disc in the zip drive, then right click on the zip drive icon, then choose "Protect" which should give you the option of read\write protection. It's done with the software, where a floppy is done by sliding the tab up or down

I don't know anything about zip disks at all. Does anyone know any know any good info. sites for finding out more or can anyone reading this send me anything they know concerning them. Thankyou.
