zip across multiple disks

need to zip a large publisher file across multiple floppies. Multiple scanning box is "greyed out" in WIN ZIP - help!!

The zip file must be created on the floppy disc in order for spanning to be enabled.

Shout back if you don't sort this because there are several file splitting programs out there that would do this. File Shredder is one of them.

I thought File Shredder did just that- wrote over the file to prevent undelete programs from bringing the file back to life.

There is more than one program around called File Shreder. One does indeed delete all traces of files on your HD. This one splits large files down to put them on floppies:

FILE SHREDDER

Perhaps an unfortunate name I accept.

AFAIK WinRar will split them, and you don`t need the floppy to do it as i remember which you do with winzip which mkes it eeasier to email them to ppl with limited mailboxes
