I can't get into my yahoo mail account at work cos it's restricted. I used to go through a site called https://www.safeweb.com but that site is down at the moment. Anyone know any ways of getting in? Through other sites maybe? All yahoo regional sites don't work either and i can't think of anything else. And i don't have work e-mail so sending it to outlook won't work. HELP!!

Well, it's probably a down server at the moment, I'd wait a little bit and try again.

Here's some free advice: don't use safeweb to bypass your company's restrictions... it's not very difficult for an experienced administrator to find out where you've been. And by intentionally using a page like that to go to sites that are restricted usually results in termination.... well, at least it does around here ;)

I have to concur with Dave, my employer AKA Uncle Sam uses Web Sense and if anyone tries to go around it they first dump your account and freeze you out than they terminate.

Hi Chloe, hi Dave,

What about taking your mail into Outlook Express from Yahoo?
Outlook Express can access a POP-Mailbox as well as a Web-Mailbox.
Dave, could you tell me whether it is acceptable for the Security administrator? would the frames be POP ones? (I suppose Yahoo is restricted because it is too difficult to control the viruses or other dangers from http... if frames are POP ones, the flow will be checked by the firewall as pop-flow, no? do I say stupidities here?)

Is Yahoo a Web-mailbox along with a POP-mailbox? many webmailboxes are "biprotocol mailboxes"!
If not... here's a site to get pop mail from http mail http://www.web2pop.com

I hope my post is clear enough!

Gérard from Paris, France
