When attempting to attach word documents to my mail messages in Yahoo mail server, it just states "attaching files", and continues to do so for several minutes. Eventually an error message will appear indicating that there was a problem, and it advises me to "try again".
Any help would be appreciated regarding this matter.

just a guess, right click on word file then go to properties see if "read only" is ticked if it is uncheck it.i know i couldent amend word docs with it checked so it might work

Hi Shelley
What does the error msg say?
How big are the files your trying to send?On a hot summers night would you offer your throat to the Wolf with the Red Roses?

As an addendum, the max file or combination of files is 10mb, well it is on yahoo uk
So I suggest that there may be an error or your trying to include other items, ie; jpeg files within the word docs that crank the file size above 10mb.

Maybe clean out your temp Internet files, all also check off-line files, then try your mail. Worked for me before.
I know this is getting pretty old, but have you scanned for spy and adware yet? If not, d/l Spybot S&D, up-date it on-line after opening the prog. Then click on check for problems. When all the problems come up with the red exclamation mark, click on fix problems. Then immunize your PC and you should be fine.
If you need a simple solution, try mine. I try to give advise on things that have happened to my PC. Changes in registry can be FATAL!

hmmm, a temporary 'work-around' might be to use outlook(express) through your ISP e-mail account, and send the e-mail to your yahoo, or right to the receipient of the e-mail. Yes, there is a 10meg limit for attachements here in USA also.. unless one has there 'premium service e-mail accounts'
I run dial-up, but have never had this problem personally
If the house catches fire, SAVE the computer!!
