XMS-driver missing in Safe Mode (WIN98)

When I boot my computer in Safe Mode i get the following message: (Translation from swedish)

Error: Himem.sys has detected...XMS-memory on address 02602214
XMS-driver not installed

But when I run Win98 in normal mode I dont get any errormessages.
