I ran a program called 'The Cleaner' which searches for trojan viruses. None were found, but when i closed the program, I got this message: Exception EAccess violation in module WSOCK32.DLL at 00003132 Access violation at address 10003132 in module WSOCK32.DLL write of address 709AC824.

I suspect the Cleaner program was trying to connect to the Internet. WSOCK32.DLL is the Windows socket which is used by applications to connect to the internet. It may be as simple as the app had online help that it made available by opening the socket, or the program was up to some hanky-panky. Either way, get a real anti-virus program. Shelling out for Mcafee Viruscan or Nortons Anti-virus is one of the best investments you can make.

Definitely make sure you don't have the Happy99 trojan, as it alters that file. Ignore what's-his-name about purchasing Norton or McAffee for trojan detection, they're useless... The Cleaner is the best out there, be glad ya have it. Also try TDS-3 which will also inform you if ya have a trojan server functioning. Good luck!
