Add it back in using the tools in;

Start, settings, control panel, add/remove progrms, windows setup tab.
accessories, details button, scroll to bottom of list. If Wordpad is still checked, UNcheck it, ok and ok your way out then, go back in and check it again and ok, ok out.
The app may ask for your win CD, to pull the fresh file copy

Wordpad is also the same as Write.exe in C:\Windows
