I have Windows 98, and I recently elminiated the Blebla worm. However, it left some residue: WordPad, which I use to open my *.doc files, no longer recognizes any file that has a space in it. So if I save something like c:\my documents\text.doc, or c:\files\my text file.doc, it won't open it.
This problem only occurs when I'm trying to open files from Windows explorer, however. When open them from within WordPad, everything works just fine.
How do I get WordPad to recognize long file names from outside in Explorer?
Thanks,
Mike

Hi Mike,
Perhaps a stupid question... didn't you delete sulfnbk.exe (an hoax said it was a virus on hard disks some months ago)?
I don't know anything about it but it is used to make some programs use long names.I don't have any other idea!
