Does anyone know where I can download wordpad exe? I apparently need it to open WinPmail and I apparently erased it. I see in my accessories that I have Wordpad, but that must not be the same thing as Wordpad exe. Please email me at thorus1@pearlriver.net if you discover the answer. Thanks, Rick

I'm also looking to download wordpad.exe for Windows NT. It got corrupted for some reason. Then I downloaded a copy from my friend but it was Windows 98 and stupid me didn't even keep the corrupted NT copy of wordpad.exe. Now I get that same shell32.dll msg and I was better off before lol.
Could someone please send me wordpad.exe for windows NT 4.0? I don't know if I'll also need the wordpad.ini file either. I just installed service pack 5 and hopefully I won't have to reinstall it to cover the new wordpad but I'll keep the service pack on my hd just in case.

Wow, a lot of people 'accidently' deleted wordpad... See, I deleted it because my comp is second-hand and the idiots I got it from left all their files on it (Like files containing passwords, phone numbers, home addresses, full names, I think I even founs a Soc. Security #), but I'm a good person, so I deleted the files containing them. Unfortunately these morons also put WordPad.exe in one of those filefolders, and now I need it. Little help?

Response 1: Man, if someone who actually has wordpad would just post it somewhere on the internet, i'd consider them god.
response 2: download CwordPad, it is 1.5 megabytes, and is almost exactly the same as windows wordpad, but with a spell checker, and maybe one or two other things. get it at http://www.cetussoft.com/cwordpad.htm
response 3: download Wordpad Plus.. I've never used it, but i assume it is just another beefed up version of the original wordpad.. get it at http://www.5star-shareware.com/Business/WordProcessing/wordpad-plus-download.html
