This is strange...
I am typing a paper using the Arial font in Word 2000...
I "fat fingured" a couple of keys in the lower left corner of my keyboard and now the Arial type style is in "all caps"...but when I hit the Shift key to capitalize a letter, it shows on the monitor as a larger capital letter...
So, I have a page of normal looking Arial type, and now a sentance on Arial that is all capitalized and won't go into upper/lower case...
Going to Format>Font>Text Effects will show the style of type in the window at the bottom, and it shows Arial type in all caps with the first letter as a larger cap...
Hitting the "default" button will change the normal.dot file to upper/lower case as per normal Arial style,EXCEPT for the sentence that is in the all caps style...
So I have a paragraph in normal Arial stype with upper/lower case letters...
Then I have one sentance on uppercase Arial with the caps as larger uppercase letters...
And when I switch the normal.dot back and forth it will change the Arial style back and forth so that the paragraph and the senctance are always the opposite style of each other...
Hope this is clear...
Any ideas???
Thanx
Steve

Not very clear, but I got to tell you about some short cut keys. If you hit windows logo(between CTRL and ALT) and B, everything is bold, CTRL+I italic, +U underline, L=left align, r= right align, e= center, etc. You really have to watch the off key inputs
